OK, so as all of you can see, there are MANY forums in here... forums for basic things, and forums that may never get used. There is a reason for this, and that reason is we want you to feel welcome in adding a topic, and we want you to feel confident enough in where to add it so we provide a forum for everything. eventually as things start working themselves out and forums get used more and some don't get used at all, we will start pruning off unused forums.

This topic will be a way of keeping track of those changes as they happen. In these early days, there will be new forums added... Later there might be notifications of forums that are in disuse and will be scheduled for demolition.

Hey all, just letting you all know that a new forum was created this evening for Rowany Festival. It can be found under the Barony of Rowany in the Barionies and Groups section.

I have recently added links to groups websites in the forum.

This allows people to get to their group website from the forum, or allows users of the forum to check out other groups websites easily.

I have changed a few of the Icons in an effort to give the forums a more SCA feel. I shall continue to adjust the forum style in an effort to make it slightly more personalised.

I also recently changed the smilies as well as added a few rank icon such as Administrator, Group Chronicler and Festival Steward. These will also expand to include royalty, and peers.

Tonight I have added Merchants Row, a place for all of the merchants of Lochac to gather and show their wares, or even just point people in the right direction for finding out what they sell, and where they can be reached.

I encourage all merchants to contact me, and I shall create a forum for you so that people can gather, see and discuss what you have on offer.

I have just made a few changes to the structure of the Artisan's Workshops forum structure to neaten up a few things and allow for a better understanding of where to place new posts.

"Calligraphy" and "Illumination" were turned into one forum, and I moved the "Book binding" forum's posts into this new forum called "Scribal Art's". I'll be happy to divide these again if they start getting more used.

I also Added a forum called "Entertainment" to encompass all types of entertainment, and moved the "Music" forum to under that. If by the start of March there are no posts in the "Music" forum itself, I'll remove it.
